How to Install Louver

Step 1

Remove Existing Register Cover Measure the length and width of the opening in the wall. This will determine your register size.

Step 2

Measure inside length and width of opening. This will determine the size register you will need. The dimensions should be wide enough to allow the frame on the back of the Iron Age register grille to fit inside.

Step 3

Install louvered damper, by securing it with screws to the perimeter of the hole. Set the louver deep enough down the hole to allow enough vertical space for the register grille frame to fit on top of the louver.

Step 4

Place the Iron Age grille over louver.

Step 5

Place Iron Age Grille over louver. Screw down is optional.

Step 6

All grilles have drill points on either end for screw down.
